About SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde
The Luxembourg association SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde, established in 1974, under the high patronage of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess, and supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, is a member of the worldwide organisation SOS Children’s Villages, which is active in the area of child protection and provides support for children without parental care or at the risk of losing the protection of their parents. In Luxembourg, the mission of SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is to raise awareness and funds for the projects in which it is involved. In 2017, SOSVEM supported 24 projects in the areas of family care solutions, education and emergency aid for more than 20,000 beneficiaries in 13 countries.
Your donation helps SOS to support the suffering population in Ethiopia. More than 27,000 children, youth and adults benefit of 7 SOS Children’s Villages, 11 youth programmes, 7 kindergartens, 7 schools, 5 vocational training centres, 2 medical centres, 23 family strengthening programmes and 2 emergency relief programmes.
